For our initial research, Me and Mason put all of sources into this padlet. This is filled with all of our initial meeting notes, tutorial findings for technical aspects and workflows, as well as other notes.

For visual references for desiging the house, we created a Pinterest board, which we filled with images tht inspired the overall look of the setting.
These 2 images I used to most for the final look of the exterior and interior.
A few more images I found on google images which I used as inspiration / small amounts of reference.
Alot of my lighting research was down to tutorials with technical tutor Reke. I took notes from our lengthy 3 hour tutorial session.
When doing tutorials with Reke to help find the look I wanted for the lighting, we collectively found these images which helped inspire us to create the dark overcast gloomy look of the film.
In regards to extra technical tutorials, most of them can be found on the padlet. But during the project I had an issue with fixing textures, so followed this tutorial to understand how to fix them:
During pre-production, me and Mason included this particular scene from ‘World War Z’ in our discussions regarding the transformation shots and the action sequences. I also used this sequence as verification that handheld shots for action sequences work.
From 2 minutes into the clip, I used this as part of my inspiration for the Helicopter shot towards the end of the film.
The music in this sequence also inspired some of my orchestral music composition. I really liked how fast paced tense staccato strings can inidicate a very fast paced environment, so I ensured to incoporate these elements into my music.
More specifically however, I had previously watched Avengers: Age Of Ultron, and seen how they executed the helicopter shot here. This was much more direct inspiration for my shot.
I was already very familar with the Dolly Zoom effect when executing the shot, but used this video as an extra bit of insight into it’s history and uses.
